Before you decide

The three questions we get asked every time.

Does our money pass through you?
No. Your ESA funds move through your state’s platform straight into your school’s bank account, and family payments come to you directly. We are not a payment processor and we take no cut. CohortLedger invoices, tracks, and documents the money; it never holds or moves it.
Can someone besides me use it?
Yes. Invite your office manager, bookkeeper, or co-founder from Settings and give each person admin or view-only access. Seats are included; we price by enrolled students, never by user. Families do not log in at all, which is why messages reach them by email instead.
What does it not do?
It is not a gradebook, a report-card system, a parent portal, or your accounting software, and it does not file anything with the state on your behalf. If you already run QuickBooks or a tuition tool, keep it: CohortLedger sits alongside and owns the part those tools were never built for, the ESA money flow and the per-state compliance it depends on.
